The 2-step is strong on the west coast of Australia. Hot off the press from Boorloo (Perth) elbarto delivers his debut release for Big Ting Recordings. A sub heavy fury of 2-step goodness, the release; a collaboration from Australia’s west coast to east coast.

The title track, Say Something, combines classic hoovers with modern dark UK garage flavours, transporting the listener straight to the early 00s. The wobbly thumping basslines makes listening on a big system an absolute necessity.

Hold on W8, another homage to UK soundsystem culture, combines grime vocals with some of the widest, most square basslines that have ever graced our humble label. High energy rhythms and weight from start to finish.

Rounding out the release is a remix by the east coast’s very own Myledo, gifting us with a jungle inspired amen forward interpretation of Say Something.
